CMM Rural has recently seen some interesting developments and new opportunities among lenders that service the UK’s diverse rural economy.

Firstly, a leading bank has appointed a national agricultural specialist who is tasked with providing agricultural expertise across the country and increasing his firm’s market share in the sector.

The move has a ring of authenticity about it because the person taking up the post was brought up on pig farm and has previously worked as a self-employed agricultural business advisor.

This particular lender is also promising to appoint agricultural managers in Scotland in efforts to provide better access to its services.

In a separate development, a US bank that describes itself as a financial partner to the technology, life sciences and cleantech / renewables sectors has opened a London branch.

The new arrival is offering a full suite of products and services to innovation businesses in in the UK including loans, cash management services, trade finance and foreign exchange.

CMM Rural will be keeping you up to date with further news about lenders, as we continue to scour the market to find the best deals for our clients.
